Accept changes in tasks

Hi,
I am still using Project server 2003 and I need to accept task changes of a
PM that doesn't work for the company anymore. I already changed the ownership
of the project to me and I already replubish all the assigments of the
project. But the tasks are still there to be accepted by the old PM. Could
anyone give me a hand on this please?

I am assuming you enabled the "Become the manager for these assignments"
option on the re-publish.

Do you have Managed Time Periods on or not? If not, also enable the option
to overwrite actuals as this sometimes forces the ownership change in my
experience.

Thanks Jonathan for your reply.
Yes I tried both options that you mention but the previous taks that were
for the old manager to aproved didn't appear on the new manager to be
approved. But the good news are that I solved my problem, I changed the user
type of the old manager from Windows authentication to Project Server
authentication, I reset the password and I entered with his login and I
accepted and updated the tasks :)
