Accept, Tentative, or Decline buttons in Office 2000 Pre

Hello Anyone,

I have been using Office 2000 Premium (Outlook) for a
couple of years. I use to be able to respond to meeting
request by opening the msg & hitting the Accept,
Tentative, or Decline buttons. For some reason, these
buttons do not display anymore. I have look thru the
Toolbars, Options etc. & can't find were these were turned
off. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
