Access 2000 and upgrading OS from 2000 to XP Causes issues

Once we have upgraded a machine for OS 2000 Pro to XP Pro the MS Access 2000 applications seem do not work very well. The switch board code does not work and throws an event error actions when we click on any menu choice. We can not narrow where its firing since the HandleButtonClick trigger does not fire or does the basic Onclick or any other triggers.
