Access 2000 and Windows 7 RC Error

I was programming in Access 2000 with both Windows 7 Beta (7000) x86 and in
another Access 2000 database in Window 7 RC (7100) x64. This occurred on two
different computers, both with clean loads. In both cases, after working in
the code for about 15 minutes, the database files became corrupt. I could not
even open them, nor could I repair and compact them. I have Access 2000,
2003, and Office 2007 installed. For security I use NIS 2009. All updates for
all programs were current. I have worked for years in this configuration in
Windows XP and Windows Vista with no issues. This looks like a show stopper
for me with Windows 7 until this is corrected.

Access 2000? I'm not sure if they're focused any longer on this version.
I have Access 2000, 2003, and Office 2007 installed
I have once tried 97 and 2000 and I didn't liked it. I used always
seperated installations. First seperated by multi-boot, then by Virtual
PC and now by Hyper-V.

Especially running RDS in the Windows Server 2008 R2 RC is really cool.

Seems to be an OS issue, so you should participate in the beta groups or
on Connect...

Otherwise, why don't you run it in the XP mode?

It may well be an OS issue, but Access2000 was notoriously unstable and prone
to corruption. If you have 2003, you may want to consider using it instead. It
handles 2000 format databases (in fact that format is the default) but in my
experience it's much more stable.
