Access 2000 compatability with Access 2003

Can I design a database in Access 2000 on a computer that uses Windows 2000
Professional and then open it and continue to develop it on another computer
that is set up with Access 2003 using Wiindows XP (home version)? And can
you do the same the other way as well... Create it in Access 2003 and
continue to utilize it in Access 2000?

Thank you in advance for any insight you can offer!

The default format for Access 2003 databases is Access 2000, so yes, you can
open a 2000 db in 2003 and do design work. Same goes the other way IF you
maintain the 2000 format.

Is it possible to create an Access database with Access 2003 and then use it
with Access 97? I created a database with Access 2003 and emailed it to
someone with Access 97 and he says he cannot open it.

Also, I can't find any help for Access 2003 that does not go to the Web.
Being on a slow dial-up connection, that is unacceptable. How do I install
help files on my hard drive? Size is no problem - I've got 240 Gb.

No - Access2003 -> Access97

You'll need to convert the database to Access 97 format before you send it
to your friend. Tools | Database Utilities | Convert Database. Note that if
you're using features in Access 2003 that didn't exist in Access 97, the
database may not work properly once converted.

As far as I know, there aren't any additional Help files that can be
installed. You can, however, turn off the on-line component. When you open
Help, look at the bottom. The last entry should be "Online Content
Settings...". Select that, and uncheck everything.
