Hi Jack,
Check the Folder level permissions where the shared database file resides.
To ensure it's not a problem with the file try copying the database file to
your local computer and opening it using 2 instances of Microsoft Access.
Most likely you'll see that the database file opens fine in more than one
instance on your local computer. Thereby, it's a problem with the Folder
permissions where the database file resides.
I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

| HI All
|
| I have my access 2000 database in "share" mode so many users can use it
at
| once.
|
| However, even though it's set for sharing, it still won't allow more than
| one user at a time.
|
| Any ideas?
|
| Thank you, Jack
