Hi again,
I have another problem that has been pestering me for some
time. I bought a new (XP Professional edition) PC. It
came with one of those MS Business Edition packages. I
already own MS Office 2000 Pro and Front Page 2000 (old PC
hard drive toast), so I installed them onto my new PC.
Now, almost anytime I try to search for something in the
Help for Access, I get "The feature you are trying to use
is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not
available. Insert the MS Front Page 2000 disk and click
OK". Inserting the Front Page CD doesn't help; and if I
click on "Cancel" instead, I get an "Error 1706: No valid
source could be found for MS Front Page 2000. The Windows
Installer cannot continue". After clicking "OK", the
information often comes up; but there are several Help
items that won't come up (nothing happens). When I
installed the MS Office 2000 and Front Page 2000, I told it
to install everything. I don't even know why it's asking
for the Front Page CD?! Any suggestions. I'm lost without
my Access Help.
Thanks, in advance.
