Access 2000 Insert Object Browser

In Access, I am able to insert a bitmap from a folder on my computer, only the first time after opening the Access file. The folder contains 102 “Windows Bitmapsâ€; and when I try again to insert another bitmap, the browser window shows only 1 Excel file. The “file type†dropdown window displays only the “All files†option. Any ideas?
