How can I reset or restore the access default menu bar
after I un-ticked the options on the startup menu it has
dissapeared

Hold the Shift Key down while you open the database to bypass the Startup
Options and get the standard MenuBar. You can then go into Startup Options
.... and change the options as required.

Hold the Shift key while you open the database. This
will by-pass the Startup options, so you can Access the
full menus and uncheck that box.
