access 2000 startup

Hi there....... Hope someone can help me.

Whenever I start access, I get a message "preparing to install
etc.......... " . After a few moments I get into access and it's ok"

I would like to uninstall it and reinstall but that info seems hard to come
by. Any help would be appreciated.

Ms Access2000 (9.0.6926 SP3)

Ms Office Ver 9.00 2720.
