When I dbl click an Excel sheet the top and bottom toolbars appear, but the
window where the spreadsheet should be does not appear. That is, if I were
to launch an *.xls now I would still be able to see the text of this post in
the middle of my screen, even though Excel does open the file.
This has happened to me on THREE separate computers and the trend is that
the issue occured when I had both Access 2002 and Excel 2002 open at the
same time.
Access still works fine, but I cannot double click an Excel file. I have to
open Excel and then browse to the file.
I posted a message on the Excel newsgroup, received a few suggestions but
they did not help.
Curious if anyone here had run into this or if anyone had any suggestions.
