Access 2002 - copying project to a CD

Hi

I have created a simple database on my home computer for
use at work. I copied it to a CD. When I copied to the PC
at work, the file came up as read only and will not allow
me to go into design view. When I look at the properties
it tells me that the file is read only, so I change the
attributes but then it tells me 'error occured applying
attributes, access denied'. The file is not read only
before I copy to CD. Can anybody help please. I have
since found out that the same happens with Excel 2002
spreadsheets.

Hello,

Each file on a CD is marked as Readonly since you cannot
modify then without reburning.

Have you copied your file onto your HD and tried to change
the attributes there?

Make sure you don't have the database open when you try to change its
read-only property.
