I have been running an access 2002 database for sometime. I have recently
made a calendar popup on on my machine running xp and access 2002. When the
other client running windows 2000 and access 2000 it will not run. we get a
object error. Can someone please help. What do I need to do to get the
database to work on the Access 2000/Windows 2000 Machine. I have tried the
update.

ANy suggestions would be appreciated.

I don't have personal experience, but my understanding is that Access 2002
and Access 2000 are different file formats. You might try converting the
2002 database to 2000 (Database Utilities > Convert). Make a copy of the
database before you try converting, just in case. It's very likely that,
once converted to 2000 format, it will work fine in both 2000 and 2002, but
it's also possible you may lose some functionality that exists in 2002 but
not in 2000.

* I assume you already check & make sure that your database is in A2000 file
format and not A2002 file format.

* It is likely that your References Collection includes Calendar Control
version 10.0 which is NOT available on machines running A2000. Check the
References and if possible, use version 9 (if you have version 9 on your
development machine).

I have solved the problem simply by updating the Windows 2000 workstation
with Microsoft Office Xp. Thanks for all the help.
