I have created a pivot view using a query that includes reference to a date
field of attendances taking place. The pivot view in Access 2002 also
includes some automatically generated grouping levels based on this date
field. I.e. it enables you to drag the week number or month number that
relates to the date to the row headings area for instance to group the
results by week number. For some reason it is calculating the 16/06/2005 as
being week 25 but the year planner i have in front of me indicates that it
should be week 24. I could create a calculated field in the query where i
derive the week number by using DatePart specifying the first week of year
etc but i would prefer the auto version of week numbers in the pivot to do
this how i want, to keep things neater.
Any ideas? can the formula that Access is using to create these auto week
and month numbers etc be accessed to customise the first week of year?
