I have been having problems with Access 2002. I am unable to compile my code
most of the time. I keep getting a compilation error: "Error in loading DLL".
Each time, the highlighted code is the "CurrentProject.Connection" object.
All my references are correct. If I create a brand-new db and try to create a
new object (doesn't matter what type - form, module, etc.), I get an "Object
library not registered" message, then I can go about my business. I can't
help thinking these two problems are related. I found an old KB article that
mentioned the "Object library not registered" message, and the solution was
to reregister Access 97 by running "setup.exe /y". I tried this with 2002,
but the argument apparently no longer applies.
I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled Office 2002, and applied SP3,
and the problem persists. Is there a solution out there?
