I have an Access database that was written in Access
2000, works fine in 2002 and XP but there is one form
that automatically runs a DoCmd.Applyfilter on Load that
works great in all versions except for 2003. In 2003,
when I open the form, it hangs for several minutes saying
Calculating... in the lower left hand corner.
Eventually, it will usually unfreeze and work but
everytime the Applyfilter is run it freezes for several
minutes again. In older versions, this was basically
instantaneous. Any ideas what is different in 2003 that
might be causing this? Thanks.
