Access 2002 unstable issue

My application mainly deal with Oracle BE, previously (in A'97) it works fine and stable, but now when we migrate to XP and A'02, now it start to be very unstable. Sometimes it just dissappear w/o any message to users. I'm using DAO (with permanent link to BE data in the server since we create a lot of query that deal with different tables from different oracle server)

Does anybody know how to handle this
Should I use ADO instead of DAO or is it possible to use both of them
