Access 2003 and SQL issue

We have an access database that is accessing SQL tables and I am having a
problem with one machine taking an incredible amount of time running a
query. I cannot replicate this problem on any other machine. I have checked
the profile and this does not seem to be an issue. I am also running the
latest version of MDAC. Does anyone have any ideas what might be causing
this. I can access the same database with the same version of access and the
query runs in a matter of seconds. I am not having any performance issues on
that machine, just within access. I have tried to repair access but that has
not helped either. Does anyone have any input on what might be causing this
problem.

(only guessing)

If you have a spare NIC, try replacing the NIC. Access is
particularly sensitive to bad or flaky NIC.

Failing that, you may need to get the network people to
check the comms link to this PC.
