I have an access 2003 database. i have a sub form within a form. The form has
a qry as its record source; the sub form also has a qry as its record source.
The sub form is in datasheet view. When selecting the initial value from a
combo box, the record appears to update as a new record is inserted below,
but no value is shown in the combo box. On selecting the combo box for a
second time, the value is inputted. When this is done a couple of times
Access freezes and then just closes without any error msg.
I’ve done a compact and repair, even looked in windows event logs but cant
find any reason for the forms behavior or why access would just close. The
combo box doesn’t have and vb code behind its events.
Does anyone know what could be happening or have any suggestions how to
capture the error?
