Symptom: select query is run in "database view" and a few result cells
are selected; going edit/copy causes a pause for a second or two, then
you get the lovely and pathetically useless "Access has encountered a
problem and needs to close." Boom.
Suddenly a couple of weeks back this began happening on different,
fairly entirely independent .MDBs. I've tried removing
selfcertificates, compact/repairing, rebooting, and importing each
group (e.g. each table, each query) to a new .MDB. I reinstalled, but
2 things make me wonder if it actually did:
1. MRU unchanged
2. Reinstall ran really quickly.
Any other ideas? It only seems to die when you copy from the datasheet
view grid.
