Access 2003 Developer Edition?

Henry Smith

Is there such a thing as MS Office 2003/Access Developers Edition? If not
then what software do I have to purchase, in addition to MS Office 2003, to
create distributable MS Access 2003 applications?

What is the relationship between MS Access 2000, Access XP and Access 2003?
Have we gone to another planet or is there some thread of commonality
between them all?

Looking forward to your reply?
Cheers,
Henry

Hi Henry

It is no longer called "Office Developer Edition", the Office 2003 version is now called
"Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office System" , this version comes with VB.NET standard ed., Sql Server Dev. Ed.
As well as "Microsoft Office Access 2003 Developer Extensions", as well as project types for Word and Excel to be used with the VB.NET. As far as commonality, it's still Access, The name was changed becuase the development is integrated with the .NET FRAMEWORK. Here's a link to the pricing sheet with some info.

Hope this helps
