Access 2003 Doesn’t display sunken fields!.
When I run the same DB on 2002 the fileds are sunken.

it depends if you have themed controls turn on.

I actually like them turned on, as it give the 10 year old looking software
a fresh new look.

You can see some screen shots here, and one does show a screen with sunken
fields..and in a2003, they are gone.

The setting can be found in tools->options, --> Forms/Reports tab, and there
you find
