Access 2003 how do I open my db where once I clicked on the doc a.

We have just moved to Office 2003 and I now can't open my Access database.
To prevent others from altering data, I had set it up that to open forms, I
clicked on the db and then held down Shift and double-clicked to get access
to the Objects. Now the db opens to the menu, where I can't add or alter
data. Can someone please help.
