When opening an Access MDB from a network share, I receive access denied
message. This happens with an account that has local admin rights on the
Terminal Server as well as Full Control access permission on network share.
The MDB opens without problems if I launch MS Access first and open the MDB
through File | Open method. The MDB also opens without any problems from a
local hard drive. What I want is to launch the MDB from network share
through a shortcut to the the resource and have Access launch automatically,
but all I get is access denied. I ran Filemon and Regmon but neither tool
revealed denied access messages.
TIA for any advice or suggestions.
