Had a PC meltdown and had to re-install everything, including OS and
Office 2003 pro plus updates.I am running XPHome SP2 plus hotfixes.
System had "lock up" issues prior to the meltdown. All the office
apps run well except Access. Everytime I try to open access, the
installer comes to life and starts the install process and then
disappears. Tried a repair but no help. Tried to open Access directly
from the executable with the same issues. I remember this same issue
with another office app in the past but don't remember how issue was
resolved...or even what to call the issue.
