Access 2003 Pro

We recently upgraded to Office Pro 2003. Overall we have been happy with it,
however, Access runs about 4-5x slower than it did in 2000. Is there any
thing that I can do to make access run quicker?

thanks,

If you could give us some detail about the circumstances and environment, it
would help us to help you. I am certainly not aware that Access 2003, as a
general rule, is four or five times slower than Access 2000.

MVP Tony Toews' site has good information on performance for split Access -
Jet databases, but most of those tips and tricks are specific to that
environment or to client-server setups.

Specifically, the databases are set up on a SQL server. We are accessing the
databases from workstations with Access 2003. The only variable in this
scenario has been the change from Access 2000 pro to Access 2003 pro. What
was once a five minute job is now at least a ten minute job or more.

thanks,
