Access 2003 Report and Queries

We are using a access 2003 db. I have a query set up for a specific report.
If I edit the query Under Criteria I have >#3/10/2008# to select only
information after that date. But when I run the report it does not seem to
change. Can someone tell me what I need to do for this?
