Access 2003 Reports module does not respond

I run I have Access 2000 (Norwegian version) and Access 2003 (English
version) on a Norwegian verion of WinXP sp2. I'm not able to create nor run
reports from my 2003 installation.

I would appreciate if somebody could explain why, and, then, how to fix the
problem.

I just found out - the problem dissappeared as soon as the default printer
was connected to my PC.
