I am trying to Import the "Order Details" (the .xml file) into the GardenCo
database (database, from the practice files, off the cd that came with this
book). When I go to File, Get External Data, Import, ImportXML
folder...there are two "Order Details" files, an Order Details (.xml) and an
Order Details (.xsd). The instructions in the Microsoft Office Access 2003
Step by Step book say to "select the Order Details (.xml) file and click
Import." This should open the "Import XML" dialog box which would give me
the option to import both the structure and the data. However, this dialog
box never opens! Instead, I keep getting an error message that says
"Microsoft Access cannot create table(s) using the information contained in
the document(s) you are trying to import." Any help on this problem would
be greatly appreciated!
