Access 2003 to 2007 problems - Export; Invalid function 'date'

We used to be able to export reports from an Access Database which is on a
server.

(1) What I read so far in the discussions is that export is not supported in
2007. Please let me know how to export or workaround, if any.

(2) We have 2 workstations. One has Access 2003 and one has Access 2007.
The 2003 workstation is getting "Invalid function 'date'" message sometimes
when I go into a form or a report. This was never a problem before the other
workstation starting running in 2007. The problem goes away by itself and
re-appears at random. Any suggestion to resolve it?

(3) We are thinking of un-installing 2007 and reinstalling 2003. Do you
think problem (2) will go away? Are there any issues we need to pay
attention to?

Thanks.

You could implement the .pdf add-in which you can download from the ms-site.
This is great functionality you have all your reports straight in .pdf ready
to be printed or mailed.

When in design mode check to see if you have any missing libraries in the VB
Editor

press Alt-F11
in the menubar within the VBE goto Tools - references
see if there are any libraries with the word MISSING in fornt of it. That
could be the problem. Solvable by checking the appropriate library for this
version of Access (often a newer one).

Why reinstalling that's like hoping the problems will fade away when waiting
long enough. Try solving them you will find that the new version is actually
very nice to work with.

Thanks for the quick reply. I found out that I have 2000, not 2003.

I checked and found that I am missing the "Microsoft Office 9.0 Object
Library". Hopefully our internal support desk can install that for me. May
be that would help with the Invalid Function problem.

We export the report to Excel to allow other users (that has no access to
this database) to massage the data such as sorting different column. That
was available in 2000. The workstation that has to do this was upgraded to
2007. Is there any way to accomplish that at all?
