Hi
I originally had Office 2002 with Access upgraded to 2003. I then got
upgraded to Office 2007 but Access 2007 was not installed. It all
worked together well.
However, just had a hard drive crash. Office 2007 was installed
(without Access 2007) first, and then Access 2003.
Now each time I open an .mdb file I get multiple security warnings
about unsafe expressions. It tells me I can install Jet 4 SP8, and I
have downloaded the appropriate package from MS but when I run the
install, it tells me I already have a more recent version and doesn't
give me a choice to override.
I've searched in \windows\system32 and msjet40.dll is there (version
4.0.8618.0) which I gather is the correct one for SP8, but it doesn't
seem to be registered. When I look at System Info through the Access
2003 help, it doesn't show anything against Jet 4.0 in the Jet Core
Components for Access in either Office 2003 or 2007.
I'd appreciate some help getting this figured out. Many Thanks.
