I keep seeing reference to the security menu under tools-
macro and I cannot find this option. Can anybody explain
to me what is missing so I can lower my macro level

Did you do a fresh install? I can't be certain, but I think it happened
with one of the beta technical refreshes.

I also cannot find Tools->Macro->Security. I tried
resetting the Toolbars without success. I have downloaded
Jet 4.0 SP8 and still get the same message regarding
unsafe expressions. My installation was an upgrade from
Office XP Pro. I have tried reinstalling, detect/repair,
etc. without effect.

Just how are you resetting the menubar?

View, Toolbars, Customize
Select the toolbar named 'Menu Bar' (I don't mean check it, I mean select
it - highlight it)
Hit the Reset button
 
Top
