I have created a 2 column combo box that looks up my
POSTCODES table and when the suburb is selected, the
Postcode is automatically entered into the Postcode
field. This works, however because there are some
suburbs with the same suburb, when you select a different
suburb where 2 postcodes exist, it picks up the first
suburb in the sorted list. Do I need to change something
in the properties or any advice

Not sure you're in the USA by your use of terminology, but you might want to
check the following http://www.csvtools.com/ and evaluate the Zip Lookup
tool...the table containing the codes could be adapted for other codes.
