I am having a problem opening a database that was created using access 2000,
the real problem is that it only happens on some PC's. I know I am missing
something but I haven't been able to figure out what. Does anyone have any
ssuggestions on what could be different??

Not a lot to go on...

Are you receiving any error messages? What do they say?

No error messages, all I get after awhile is "not responding" from Access. I
can open the template DB that I downloaded.

How is "the template DB" related to the "database that was created using
Access 2000"?

Can you open Access all by itself? Can you then "point to" the "database
that was created using Access 2000"?
