Access 2007 attachment question

Hello,

I converted my MDB file to Access 2007, and added an attachment field that
may contain DOC or JPG files. Based on the help system (and some
experimentation) it looks like Access makes a separate copy of each
attachment when it is added. Is that copy embedded inside the accdb file, so
that by sending the one accdb file to someone else I'm also transmitting all
the attachments?
