I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble with Access 2007 crashing a
Windows 2003 file server. The server is a Windows 2003 R2 storage server and
the client is a Windows XP Pro SP3. After using the Access database for a
little while Access 2007 crashes and then no one can access the file server
from any computer on the network. You can still ping the server but you
cannot connect to it any other way (that I know of). When you try to logon
locally you are allowed to enter a user name and password but then the screen
just goes blank and the icons never appear. The only way to get the system
back is to cycle the power. Anybody else have this situation?
