Access 2007 crashs in design view

I am having a problem with Access crashing while in design view. The errors
all have been memory issues. It seems to happen when I am editing controls
on a tab control. I have tried a blank database with only 1 form that has 1
tab control and a few text boxes (on the tab control) and it still crashes.
I have all of the updates as of today.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue??

The following is an error that appears.

AppName: msaccess.exe AppVer: 12.0.6211.1000 AppStamp:46d4aa81
ModName: msaccess.exe ModVer: 12.0.6211.1000 ModStamp:46d4aa81
fDebug: 0 Offset: 0023ba14

jet isnt' reliable.

move to SQL Server.

sorry-- but those are the facts.

I love access forms and reports-- that is why i moved to Access Data
Projects a long time ago-- they fit my needs-- and forward looking--
SQL Server supports dual-core processors (and Jet really doesn't)

Ok, are you desperate yet? I have a suggestion, but it won't make any sense.

Open the References dialog and screen shot it and/or jot down all the references.
One at a time perform this process on each one ...

a) Note the physical location of each library (lower part of references dialog box)
b) Unselect the reference (uncheck the checkbox)
c) Close References dialog box
d) Reopen References dialog and readd reference, but NOT by checking box!
Use the Browse button to navigate to the library file and select it that way.

This may or may not help. If you have all the updates, then it could be there is simply
a registry issue with the libraries on your system. I've seen this process fix things
like you describe.
