Long time Access user.... new to Access 2007. I literally work in Access all
day every. I can't find a feature that was most helpful to me in previous
versions. I've spend several hours searching various forums but can't find
any reference.
I build lots of complex query streams. In previous versions when I clicked
'create query' with a query or table open - that query would automatically
assume the new query was to be based on the query/table and include that
query/table in the new design view. Now all I can seem to find is the
'virgin' create query that always pops up the dialog to select queries/tables
to include. Does anyone know how I can get the old 'create query from active
window' back. Am I just missing it somewhere? My databases are generally
very large and very complex. To lose this would actually be a pretty
significant development time consumer for me. Thanks.
