Access 2007 - does Ctrl-Break not work for this?

Hi

I usually use ctrl-break to halt execution of code in Access 2003.
However, I am now running Access 2007 on my laptop and ctrl-break does
nothing. Does this not work in Access 2007 or is it just something
peculiar to my laptop?
