Access 2007 File Disappears

What would make a Access 2007 file disappear after it compresses? I have the
option selected to compress on close, but after it compresses and closes the
file just disappears. The file is located on a MS 2003 Server with shares to
appropriate users that interface it with Access 2007 Runtime.

Google for it, there are some known issues, e.g. Offline Folders, Vista
and Access 2007.

Steve, many thanks. Your link to Allen's site is very helpful in explaining
and working around the problem in the future.

The problem can also happen when a laptop goes to sleep I think.

Thanks for posting this. I lost 6 hours of hard work at a bad time because
of this so having company really helped....
