Access 2007 Navigation Pane

I am restructuring a database in Access 2007; it was built in older versions
of Access progressively over the years. Yesterday everything was as it
should be-today the Tables and Related Views option in the Navigation Pane is
missing. I have closed and re-opened the database numerous times, rebooted
the computer, tried "unhide" options, show system objects option, and I have
searched the Microsoft "how-to" pages as well as "Googled" the issue- all to
no avail. Does ANYBODY have ANY ideas? HELP!!

Have you tried looking under: Microsoft Button - Access Options - Current
Database - Navigation Options?

In that window you should see the tables and related views on the left side
of the pane.

And one very obvious one (i presume you've looked there but...) Look under
the the arrow of the navigation pane under "All Objects"?
