Access 2007 Packaging Wizard

I have recently upgraded to A2007 and have downloaded the runtime and the
runtime developers kit, and installed the latter.

When I build a package for distribution, it installs fine and the installed
package with the A2007 runtime runs fine, but I have to edit the
Shortcut/Properties, because I cannot find any way of adding the /wrkgrp
parameter to the icon in the packaging wizard.

I tried to use the VBA command field to add the /wrkgrp security.mdw
parameter. In the Shortcut Properties I find the /wrkgrp etc is there, but
has a /cmd in front of it that I have to remove to make the shortcut work.

This is a work around for my users, but not a very elegant solution. What
is the correct way of getting this parameter into the Shortcut Properties??

I also just upgraded from Access2000 to Access2007 and have the same problem.
This seems to be a backward step as the /wrkgrp parameter could be added by
editing the setup.lst file when using the Access2000 P&D Wizard.

Is it possible to edit the autorun.inf or setup.ini file? What must be added
to add the /wrkgrp parameter?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am new to Access 2007 and have never used the Packaging Wizard before. I
have successfully deployed a database via the packaging wizard. However, my
goal was to deploy the database and have all of the deployments point to the
same database on the network from which I created the package from. Is this
possible? Otherwise, I have all of these separate databases out there and no
way to collect the data from each of them. Maybe I am missing something
obvious?

Thanks in advance!
