Access 2007 query performance

Last week I upgraded from access 2003 to access 2007 and a query I've run
successfully for 5 months in under 10 minutes now just hangs. Are there
certain settings or other things I need to be aware of to run the new version
faster? The make table query is against 5 linked oracle tables.
