I'm just beginning to explore 2007 and have quickly noted the absence of
Application.Filesearch. Though much reviled here, I found it useful when
looking for a file that might be in any of several places on my hard drive:
I could tell it "start at c:\Program Files and look in all the subfolders
until you find xxxxx.xls." I've considered Dir and the FileSystemObject, but
it doesn't look to me like I can do that kind of search with either of those.
Anybody have some guidance for me?
