Access 2K and Access XP (2002)

Can I open Access 2K databases using my Access XP installed on my computer?
We have Access 2k frontend with SQL Server 2K backend. Is the Access 2K
database would be corrupted if I open it in the Access XP?

Douglas J. Steele

Actually, Access 2002 (which is what comes with Office XP) uses the Access
2000 file format by default, so you should have no problems.

Thank you for your help. But the corruption did happen when I opened the
Access 2K database using Access XP application. Did that happen because I
opened the same database when another person already opened it? Is that
right? Do you know other possible?
