Access 2k reamins running

Good morning
I have a thirdy part application developed in Access 2k run-time version
(adp file over Sql 2000).
In a client with Office 2007 (without Access 2007), when the user quit the
apps (with DoCmd.Quit, say the programmer), the apps sometimes quit
gracefully sometimes raise an error but, in both the situations, an Access
2k instance remain running.
If the user re-run the apps, the apps hung and raise a lot of application
errors.
Can anyone help me? The programmer apologize there is an incompatibility
Access 2k-Office 2007 because in Pcs with Office 2003 all run perfectly.
