Access 7.0 Error Messages

I am getting the following 2 error messages. And would like assistance with
them both. I think they are related.

While logging in to the program (Kruse Contol) that uses the Access 7
database, I get and error "3197 error has occured n the db.bas-updatetables"
If I hit okay it allows me to get in to the database and continue working.

When I attempt to compact the db I get an error message that reads "Data has
changed; operation stopped" and does not allow me to compact. I did repaire
the db sucessfully prior to attempting the compact.

ANY and ALL help would be greatly appreciated.

Try importing the MDB into a new MDB.
