Access 95 Corrupt file

I am using Access 95 and a database file (.mdb) has apparently become
corrupted. When I try to open it, I get the following message: "(file.mdb)
isn't an index in this table." When I try to repair the database, I get the
same message. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to access this data?

Hi Barry

Have you tried creating a new blank database and tried to import all of the
objects from your 'corrupted' database?

Maurice,
That's a good suggestion but when I tried it, I got the same message as soon
as I selected the file from which to import. I also tried converting the
file to a newer version of Access. It's just not being recognized as an
Access database file, for some reason.
Thanks for your help. Anyone else with an idea?
