Access 95 on XP changes fonts in other application splash screens

I just upgraded from Windows 98 SE to Windows XP. When I install Access
version 7 (95) onto my computer the splash screen for Norton Internet
Security has an almost unreadable font. Also noticed strange fonts in
Opening screen for Epson Smart Pannel. Access seems to work ok. Has anyone
else experienced this problem?
