access 97 and xp?

does anyone know if you can run access 97 under XP Pro?
when i try initially, i get an out of memory error.
[the reaon i want to do this, i have a new pc with xp and
need to maintain a batch of old access 97 databases...]

AFAIK, there should be no problems. I haven't XP Pro on this machine, but I
have no problems with XP Home.

I didn't have any problems running access 97 with xp home until I downloaded
Service Pak 2. Now I too get an out of memory message. HELP!

Download jet35sp3.exe from Microsoft site and run it. Problem should be
resolved.
